I had specifically purchased this due to having a split strike plate, not what we received and response was that the picture (and detailed plan showing the specification / dimensions on the strike plate) was for information only. Seems strange to include so much detail in the website if it’s not accurate.
Poor response - was expected to return at my own cost even though the item was not at all as described. Just felt the service is poor in this instance

Our handyman fitted two of these locks in place of old bathroom 'locks' which operated only by strengthening the resistance of the latch - inadequately, as it was easy to forget the lock had been used and open the door with just a little more force than usual, whereupon the locking mechanism would often fall out. As the measurements were different he didn't find it easy, but persisted to fit these locks and appropriate handles (with lock operating knobs) which he sourced himself. Now they are in they work perfectly and it's good to know the lock can be opened from the other side should a grandchild lock themselves in!
