Lever on Backplate Door Handles
A lever handle is common in residential houses, because they are easy to install and operate. The backplate component provides extra style and character while protecting the door from key scratches and dings. We offer handles in various styles and finishes within each of the locking families explained below.
- Lever Latch Handles are used on doors where locking is unnecessary -- usually pantries, closets, bedrooms or other interior doors.
- Lever Lock Handles are used when the door might need to be securely locked by a key.
- Lever Bathroom Handles were specifically designed for locking a toilet or bathroom. This specialty handle enables the user to lock the door from the inside, but also has a release slot on the outside handle which allows the door to be unlocked in an emergency.
