A 5 lever mortice sashlock is usually fitted on wooden doors and can be locked from the outside and inside using a key. These locks are fixed in the door material instead of the surface.
Our 5 lever motor sachlocks come with a nightlatch for added security. They are BS3621 certified to guarantee security and come with hard plates to shield them against drilling.
Identifying Our 5 Lever Mortice Sashlocks
You cannot use a 5 Lever Mortice Sashlock on composite and uPVC doors. Our 5 lever mortice sashlocks come with a 5 lever stamp on the faceplate for easy identification.
Our locks are made to be fitted along the edge of your door, and you can only fit them on timber or wooden door. Our 5 lever mortice sashlocks are insurance certified, which means they meet the laid down insurance company standards.
We offer you two finishes to choose from, enabling you to match your home decor theme. Our locks are ideal for use in sprung door handles, but you can still use unsprung door handles.
Should you opt for the latter, however, you may want to upgrade to the heavy-duty spring. The upgrade will give your handles the extra force needed to position them horizontally. Further, the upgrade is cost-friendly and valuable.

Difference Between 5 Lever and 3 Lever Mortice Sashlocks
A 3 lever sash lock comes with few levers, which means the keys can be easily duplicated, making it less secure. Again, 3 lever locks are not BS3621 certified.
A 5 lever lock, on the other hand, is more secure and comes with a BS3621 certification. You can use it on your external doors.
