We wanted to replace the original sashlocks from our original Edwardian doors - these fitted very well, though we hadn't appreciated some door knobs would be difficult to fit with them on.
Bought 2 of these. One of them the latch locked in position. Fortunately a hard kick to the door detached the latch and I could then open the door. Bought a replacement but found the same issue. My fault for buying cheap junk, that cheap that it was not worth my time to return, but I will never purchase anything again from Hiatte.
Quality is standard easily fitted product interchangeable bolt not the best standard but buy cheap what can you expect overall ok as replacement for interior doors

Ticks all the boxes. Fitted an already cut space. Easy to install. Postage costs made this more expensive than we had wanted, but very stuck for any other choices. Job done and dusted so no complaints,
A combination of a latch and a deadlock, a mortice sash lock uses a bolt, a latch, and a pair of handles to operate a door. These sash locks fit into a cut in the side of the door and are ideal for adding a level of security to doors in heavy traffic areas.
At Hiatt Hardware, our mortice sash locks are available in two-lever locks, three-lever locks and five-lever locks.
If you want to add security to internal doors, opt for an economical two-lever lock such as our 64mm 2 Lever Mortice Sashlock in chrome. Supplied with all the fittings you will need, our two-lever mortice sashlock is suitable for standard door handles throughout the home.
It is worth noting that two-lever mortice sash locks will not provide adequate levels of security for external doors. However, our 64mm 5 Lever Mortice Sashlock offers extra protection if you want to secure exterior doors.
Our five-lever mortice sash locks include a Stainless-steel strike plate to prevent unwanted access to the bolt. In addition, the more significant number of levers makes a five-lever lock more difficult to lockpick.
