This Stormguard applique drop down seal is designed to enhance fire safety, soundproofing and smoke containment, as well as draughts and water ingress.
When the door closes it automatically activates, effectively sealing gaps up to 14mm beneath timber doors. Can be trimmed toi fit.
Tested to BS 476 Part 20/22 standards, it provides up to 60 minutes of fire resistance and acoustic performance in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3:1995.
The seal is suitable for both new installations and retrofitting existing doors and its corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium complements a range of modern and traditional door designs.
