- I think my rating says it all. I spent a lot of time going around hardware stores but nothing took my eye. Then I began to look online - when I found these, I knew that they were exactly what I was looking for - simple but very elegant. The price was unbelievable and that factor was my only worry but my worries were unfounded - they are of good quality, strong, well-made and lovely and I have had very complimentary remarks about them. Now I can't wait to have my upstairs doors replaced so I can buy them again.

- The knobs look great. They would have got 5 stars if it were not for one niggle. The screw heads holding the knob to the spindle are slightly too large in most of the knob sets I received. This means that they do not engage fully with the slot in the spindle and have to be regularly re-screwed. I am trying to source some some alternative screws without success so far.

- Good value and I would buy again. The only thing to be aware of is that the spindle is of the type that has a slit that the screw securing the knob has to locate in, this doesn't make for the most secure of fits. Don't get me wrong it works, but it is not as good a solution as other types of spindle I have, or knobs with a thread insert to take the screw. But for the money it is excellent and the actual knob and back plate are as good as the more expensive knobs I have.
