- The lock supplied isn't as pictured but a brass faced lock with a separate nickel plated overlay to go over the top of the brass. The overlay itself is pretty poor and does not fit, being offset by about 2mm at the top and bottom. Using the overlay also increases the thickness and therefore unless you are willing to increase the recess depth the plate stands proud of the door edge. It is not therefore suitable as a like-for-like replacement where you just want to drop a new lock into an existing door. The two locks I bought were unusable for the purpose I bought them for and I had to buy replacements. I should have read Zoe's review before I bought them as she described the issue perfectly.

- I ordered multiple items that were all good value for money and well made just a shame about the packaging there was no packaging inside box to keep items in place and the box was ripped when I received it the hole in it was big enough for the items to have come out but luckily they were still all in box!!
